Rules and other interesting matters
Payment
As soon as you make a booking for one of our facilities we will send you a written confirmation. You won’t get an invoice, we would like to ask you to take care for a payment in time. We can cancel the booking if the payment is not done in time.
Energy, housecleaning and touristtax
Afterwards you should pay the costs made for energy-use (if relevant). Also we charge you for the costs of housecleaning and touristtax. We compensate you for these costs with the caution payed in advance. We shall have to walk around the accommodation and we inspect this one.
In case of cancellation
Unfortunately it can happen that you have to cancel your stay at de Barendonk. We ask you to call us as soon as possible and to confirm this telephone call in writing. We advise you to organize a cancellation Insurance by yourself, because we don’t restitute the amount that needs to be paid. Of course we will do our utmost to rent the accomodation as yet. If we are successfull we will restitute the rent minus the made costs. If for some reason we cannot influence, you cannot make use of one of our accomodations (for example in case of dammage by fire), we only can claim the rent. Of course we’ll try in case of unforeseen problems, to look for a satisfary solution. The most important is to take for you, so that you’ll have a pleasant stay.
Dammage
If some crockery is broken, please take care for replacement, after concellation of the owner. If some dammage is made on the accomodation, you are responsible and you have to pay the costs. Please check if your travel Insurance policy also covers this kind of dammages. Please, let us know al kind of deficiencies, because we want to welcome new guests in a proper and clean house
Arrival and Departure
Exact times are indicated in the confirmation. Please call us as soon as you arrive, 0622447254 or 0485-321551. At the day of departure we ask you to leave the accomodation “wipe”clean! Please remove the bedding (not the flannel undersheet)
Litter
At arrival you’ll find plastic bags in the litter containers, leave your litter there. At departure leave the bags in the litter place, where you can also leave your glass and paper.
Responsibility
Brabant is a very friendly department of the Netherlands, but we don’t accept any kind of responsibility in case of damage, loss of theft. We take good care for our accomodation, unfortunately unexpected incidents can happen, we try to solve problems straight away or we take emergency measures. Juridically we are not responsible, it concerns circumstances beyond our control.
Parking
At arrival and departure the car can stay at the accomodation, the rest of your stay the car is parked at the carparking.
Mail and Telephone calls
You can use the following postal adress: Landgoed De Barendonk, Millseweg 13, 5437 NB Beers, please indicate your name. Only in case of emergency we can transmit phonecalls.
Information
At your accomodation you’ll find information files. There you can find answers to all your questions, concerning doctors, hospitals etc. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes available which you can use, but please return them afterwards, so other guests can use them as well.
Shopping and First Aid
In Mill and Cuijk are some large supermarkets, the nearest hospital is in Boxmeer.
Area of silence
Our accomodations are located in an area of silence. After 22.30 it must be quiet outside.
Unexpected circumstances
The owner is always entitled on his terrain and can decide in special cases for which are no rules available
Finally
In principle we don’t like all kind of rules and many items are self-evident. We hope that our rules are clear and will contribute to a nice and relaxed holiday
