Welcome to country-estate De Barendonk

The historical, privately owned Country estate De Barendonk is situated in Beers (appr. 15 kms to the south of Nijmegen), within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). From the doorstep there are wonderfull oppertunities for both walking and cycling and the farm is located on the national Cycle Network. We, the owners Liesbeth and Jan Hermanussen-Thijssen, take care of De Barendonk with lots of energy and pleasure.

The dairy cattle farm is our main source of income, but beside this we offer special residences, all situated at our unique Barendonk

We provide:

  • Comfortable guest residencess for groups.
  • Following possibilities: the Solemn Original property (10-12 persons), the Flemmish shed (18-22 persons), the Horse Carriage Barn (8 adults, 4 children)
  • The guest residences are suitable for families, business enterprises and special care institutions
  • Campsite cottages (2x), campsite cottages plus(2x) or comfort (2x)
  • Nature Camping-site, for camping with own tent or caravan.
  • Sleeping at the loft (Loft Hotel)
  • A horse halting place, with sleeping possibilities in the Horse Lodge
  • The Apple Shed for meetings and training courses

The atmosphere is relaxed, staying with us is really being outside in the overwhelming nature.
